Within Quintana roo state lies Cancun, a beautiful Mexican city on the Caribbean Sea with crystal clear blue waters, amazing sunrise and sunsets and endless activities. There was certainly mayan culture shining through in this city, beautiful weather greeted us for not only our last day in Cancun, but our last day in Mexico.
On the Yucatan peninsula in Quintana roo state is a city called Tulum. This spiritual oasis is relaxation heaven. One of the main attractions here is the preserved ancient mayan ruins of Tulum, set to the backdrop of beautiful beaches and the sea, these ruins are a tourist hotspot but are so worth a visit.
